You can either email us at sales@ thwc.co.uk, call our freephone number 0800 7314294, visit one of our showrooms or complete the Quotation Request on this web site. You will then be contacted by telephone by one of our local professional consultants who will find out as much as possible about your requirements and answer any questions that you might have. The consultant will then arrange an appointment to come and see you and your home. This will be arranged for a convenient time for you, this could be daytime, evening or weekend. When our consultant visits they will be able to answer any of your questions and will discuss your window and door requirements. Our consultant will normally have samples for you to see. Our consultant will then take any measurements that he needs and note your specific requirements. Within a few days we will send you a quotation. It is normal that the consultant will telephone once to ensure that you have received the quotation and to ensure any queries that you have are answered. At The Heritage Window Company we do not believe in the hard sell approach taken by many companies – we will not bombard you with telephone calls to try to ‘close the sale’. We will respect your privacy to makeup your own mind in your own time. Feel free to call the consultant though should you have any questions. For example we should be able to identify a house in your area where you can view a recently completed installation. It is testament to the service that we provide and the product that we offer, that many of our existing customers are willing to recommend our services. Once you are quite happy with the quotation and would like us to carry on with the work then just contact us and we will get the ball rolling. Once the terms have been agreed then one of our qualified surveyors will visit your house to confirm all the manufacturing sizes. He will also carry out a logistical exercise noting where protective sheeting is required for example paved areas, lawns, plants or a conservatory roof. He will note access paths to the windows and doors being replaced and note whether ladders, towers or scaffolding is required in accordance with the Health and Safety at Works Act. Finally, he will record all finishings required to leave the new products looking their best. Once your house has been surveyed and all the window and door sizes confirmed by the surveyor then the order is forwarded to production at our factory at Bellingham in South London. Our carpenters will then come to your property with all the necessary equipment, remove the existing and install the new replacements. As in all instances craftsmanship and attention to detail are critical.
