Dunstable Windows
The market town of Dunstable is the oldest charter town in Bedfordshire. The town is home to approximately 36,000 residents, making it the third largest town in the county behind Luton and Bedford. Steeped in history dating back as early as the 11th Century, the town features many different architectures and buildings, as well as plenty of leisure opportunities thanks to its close proximity to the Dunstable Downs.
Dunstable has a thriving arts scene thanks to the 1,000 seater Grove Theatre, while Dunstable Market, a historic, outdoor general market, operates in Ashton Square every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The nearby Dunstable Downs, a chalky escarpment outside the town, are also a very popular site for activities such as kite flying, paragliding and hang gliding. The London Gliding Club is even based at the bottom of the Downs.
