Chigwell Windows

Chigwell is a civil parish and town in the Epping Forest district of Essex. Located around 11 miles from the centre of London, Chigwell borders both Epping Forest and Hainault Forest through which Chigwell Brook still meanders. Along with the neighbouring suburbs of Loughton and Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell forms part of the so-called ‘golden triangle.’ Such is the town’s idyllic beauty that Charles Dickens, who frequently Chigwell regularly, famously labelled it as “the greatest place in the world…Such a delicious old inn opposite the church…such beautiful forest scenery…such an out of the way rural place!”

Heritage is very proud to have installed countless aluminium windows into many homes in Chigwell and the surrounding areas. The town’s buildings are diverse with plenty of 18th century houses and a village atmosphere. A good example of this is the timber-framed 17th century inn ‘Ye Olde King’s Head’, used in the 18th century for Forest Court of Attachments meetings.
